KPRC Channel 2 reporter Hasti Taghi (center talks with Schindewolf Intermediate School students McKenzie Scoppa (left) and Taylor Bennet (right) about their efforts to combat bullying on July 6. Groups represented in the filming were the school’s No Place for Hate Coalition and peer mediation. Staff members present were Ms. Judy Linville and Ms. Kimberly Walters with No Place for Hate and Dr. Charlye Jo Ivy and Ms. Meredith Waggoner who lead students involved in peer mediation.

Ms. Taghi is creating a week long series that will run nightly in August to  highlight how area schools combat bullying.
