San Jacinto College Fine Arts Center Presents, "Cinderella"

Festival Ballet and The Academy of Ballet & Dance Arts will present Spring Recital 2010/Cinderella with music by Prokofiev at the San Jacinto College Fine Arts Center, on June 26, with one performance at 4:00 p.m.

 

Once upon a time there was a handsome prince, a young girl with a dream of attending a ball at his palace, a wicked step-mother and two step-sisters who would stop at nothing to ruin her dream This is the timeless love story of Cinderella (little cinder girl). One of the fairy tales written by seventeenth century poet Charles Perrault.

 

Festival Ballet’s production will feature professional guest artists Ilya Kozadayev (Houston Ballet) as Prince Charming.  In addition to Guest Artists and Festival Ballet Company members, this production includes students from the Woodlands Dance Academy and The Academy of Ballet & Dance Arts.
