Residents of the communities of Spring and Klein enjoyed the convenience of fun right in their backyard this past Saturday, May 1, 2010. The Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce (SKCC) along with HEB's new 2920/Spring Cypress Location, IBC Bank, Chick-fil-A, First Victoria Bank and several other local businesses participated in the 2nd annual Spring Carnival, conveniently located in the Spring Town Center at 5905 FM 2920 (at Kuykendahl) . 


The Spring Carnival serves as an opportunity for local businesses to connect with the community. With the continued growth of the Spring-Klein community, the SKCC supports and encourages local business, as well as residents, to participate in local events that further the economy of our communities.


Families and children experienced a treat when HEB's own life size Grocery Bag danced right along with the always popular cow, representing Chick-fil-A. An additional surprise was the appearance of Bernard the Saint Bernard, a member of the up and coming Heroes Hip Hop Hurray, which provided an educational opportunity for kids to learn about safety.
