Klein Education Foundation golf tournament chairperson Mr. A.K.(Buddy) Brown Jr. presented a check for $120,586.40 to the foundation raised by the 2009 golf tournament. Shown at the presentation are the following from left to right: superintendent Dr. Jim Cain, Mr. Brown, Mr. Kurt Schwenkel who is president of the foundation board, and Ms. Anne Vallette who is the director of the foundation. Ms. Jo Matthew was co-chair of the tournament.
